The following organisations have received donations from the PETT scheme:
This donation will help the church to get their livestream back up and running following a recent break in.
Livestream is used for weekly church services, as well as funerals, weddings and baptisms as requested, weekly reflections, meetings, bible study, etc. for members who are not able to physically attend church and the wider community.
The donated devices will also be used for the day to day management of emails, completing online courses and study days, etc. As well as being used for the management of church finances and administration, presentations can be created for use on the screen in the church.
In letter thanking PETT for the donation, Barbara Farrington, Church Secretary said,
“The recent break in at the Church took away not only the technology but our ability to livestream our services to the community and especially the Church Family who may for various reasons not be able to get to the church.
Your gift has enabled us to begin to get back on track and more importantly to turn a negative situation into a positive outcome.
Thank you all once again for your thoughtful care.”
