Thursday 21st September saw PETT host our first ever “Late Summer Mingle”, an event aimed at raising much needed funds for a local good cause whilst bringing together business associates, clients, suppliers- all of whom benefit from the opportunity to mingle with other like-minded businesses.
This event took place at Congleton Lawn Tennis Club and saw guests enjoying a light lunch whilst chatting/ networking and also hearing about what PETT is all about, with Sue Heaven, Head of PR & Fundraising at Rossendale Trust, explaining how important fundraising was to the Trust and providing an overview of how the lives of people with learning disabilities were transformed by the work of the Trust.
Thanks to the generosity of these in attendance, PETT were delighted to be able to hand over a cheque for £1000 to Sue and Susanne from Rossendale Trust.
Commenting on behalf of PETT, Peter Neal, Business Consultant confirmed why PETT had chosen to support the Trust at this event, “Having worked with Rossendale Trust for over 7 years, we know the quality of their outputs and consistency in delivering. We made a promise to support their fundraising and profile through one of our “Mingle Events” pre covid, and this was our opportunity to do just that. We were thrilled to hear about the great work Rossendale Trust do through an animated, witty, and honest speech delivered on the day by Sue Heaven. It was also reassuring to see the generosity of so many of the local business community who turned out midweek to support the Mingle and a very worthy cause.”
